RSSB 2026 Recruitment: Notification Released for 3,951 Computer Instructor Positions

RSSB 2026 Recruitment Railways Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released an official notification for 2026 recruitment cycle. It has notified 3,951 vacancies in all for the post of Computer Instructor. Computer savvy and teaching-enthusiast qualified candidates are welcome to apply. 1. Educational Qualification: The candidate should be graduate or diploma holder in Computer Science or any IT related field from a recognised university/institute.

Selection Procedure and Important Dates

• Written Examination: First stage is a computer based examination on technical and general knowledge.
• Skill Test: The shortlisted candidates will be subjected to practical tests to assess their computer skills and teaching abilities.
• Document Verification: Candidates qualified in the tests will be called for verification of original documents.
• Interview (if applicable): The selection of some candidates is made by means of personal interviews, depending on the requirements of the position.
• Final Merit List : Selection will be made on the basis of the performance in the examinations and skill tests subject to reservation policy.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus Details

1. Exam Duration: The written test will be of 2 hrs duration and will consist of objective type questions.
   
2. Topics to be covered: Basics of Computer, Programming languages, IT Concepts, General Knowledge & Reasoning.
   
3. Marking Scheme:- Correct answers will be awarded points and there will be negative marking for wrong answers.
